When Freedom Of Religion Becomes Freedom Of Insanity

Some religious conservatives wrongly believe that there is a solid wall between church and state that prevents government from regulating anything that churches do

The Covid-19 coronavirus has turned Christian and Islamic beads of faith used in prayer rituals into beads of sickness that can transmit the deadly coronavirus to faith worshipers

In Russia the Russian Orthodox Church says it will not close churches or cancel religious services to help fight the spread of coronavirus. “The Church will not stand aside from what’s happening,” said Metropolitan Ilarion, a Russian Orthodox Church cleric.

Many claim that its not government interference that is making some churches resist canceling in-person worship services, it is the missed opportunity to pass the plate!!!
Most churches in America respect the coronavirus shutdown and now look like this on Sunday mornings until the shutdown is lifted

Fortunately there are holes in constitutional wall that separates church and state so that the government can reach through and shut down deadly church services for those whose faith blinds them to good judgment.
