On 1 hand last week’s national elections produced unity because everyone was surprised at the results and on the other hand the elections produced disunity. Democrats are walking around with smiling question marks, Republicans are walking around with sighs of relief, and every Democratic and Republican pollster is either hiding from fraud scam busters or calling 911 for protection, all because white fear continues to reign supreme in America!!!

The blue wave that Democrat and Republican pollsters predicted would produce new Democratic House seats, a change from Republican control to Democratic control of the Senate and many state legislatures throughout America flipping from Republican-controlled to Democratic-controlled turned out to be a blue ripple. In the House, Democrats flipped 2 seats but Republicans flipped 8, in the Senate Democrats only flipped 2 seats and are looking to flip 2 additional Senate seats in the upcoming January Georgia runoff elections to create a 50/50 tie in the Senate, and the only state legislature to flip was New Hampshire going Republican not Democrat. …

An act of retaliation to get even or to inflict injury in return for perceived mistreatment both describe one thing, REVENGE. Revenge is what Democrats must avoid at all costs if voters bless them on November 3rd with the hat trick of American governance, control of the U.S. House, Senate, and the White House. With all the lying, cheating, and political abuse President Trump and Republicans have inflicted on Democrats, what can Democrats do to resist the temptation of taking revenge disguised as reform???

If the political competition for the last 4 years between Democrats and Republicans were viewed in terms of a boxing match, the political blows Republicans have landed on Democrats have been knock-down punches unfairly thrown after the bell rang to conclude the round. President Trump, Republican Senators, and Republican Congresspersons have been willing to lie, steal, and cheat to insure that only Republican policy initiatives become American law. …

Last week something occurred that sent anger shock waves throughout the far-left liberal ranks of political activists. At first glance, the anger seemed to be an overreaction, it was simply one human being extending a compliment and exchanging a show of affection with another human being, but upon closer examination, the anger was still overblown but understandable because what occurred amounted to an endorsement of violence and abuse.

After the U.S. Senate confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett last week the ranking Democratic Judiciary Committee member, Senator Diane Feinstein, complimented the Republican Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Senator Lindsey Graham, on how well he conducted the hearings and gave him a warm embracing hug as she departed the room. …

The media, political pundits, and many American citizens of color are convinced that Donald Trump is chasing racism to capture the American white nationalist vote, they are wrong, there is a secret frightening reason that President Trump is chasing racism.

On June 16, 2015, Donald Trump kicked off his campaign to become President of the United States by chasing racism, during his announcement speech he declared that some Mexican immigrants were rapists who were bringing drugs and crime to America. …

Babe Ruth and the New York Yankees baseball team of the late 1920s were known as the murderers’ row of baseball because of their success at defeating opponents. Since 1968 there has been a group of political players who have consistently done things to defeat the most powerful idea in human history, America. They are the murderers’ row to democracy and the rule of law, who after 52 years and 7 attempts are literally on the verge of murdering the most successful system of governing people that grants its citizens life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The foundation pillar of American democracy was best described by founding father John Adams when he saidA government of laws and not of men.” The intent of the founding fathers was and the intent of the American Constitution is, that rules and laws of American society be consistent and not subject to individual or political party whims. For the last 52 years in America, there has been a murderers’ row to democracy and rule of law that has blown this intent to smithereens!!! …

One of the most powerful things in human society are words, they can both inspire life and destroy life. America has already lost one great movement to word assassination. Unfortunately, its beginning to look like America could now lose another great movement to word assassination, this time before it gets started!!!

Human society’s most powerful tool is the spoken language. It’s what differentiates human beings from all living species and all other forms of life on planet Earth, it enables human beings to be masters of the universe. Simply put words are mechanisms used to communicate information.

Dr. Hyder Zahed said it best: “ Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate, and to humble.” …

Deservedly so, much ado is being made over Kamala Harris being the first American Black woman to be the Democratic nominee for Vice President of the United States. But there is potentially a truly historic moment that nobody is acknowledging!!!

Even if Kamala Harris does not become the first black Vice President, America is already a great country but like most things in life, it’s not a perfect country. Its most glaring imperfection is the racism and sexism that has existed throughout the entire history of America. Proof of this imperfection is the fact that in the 244-year history of America, Kamala Harris is the first American Black, male or female, to be the vice-presidential nominee of a major political party. …

The Civil Rights Movement was successful because of the moral rightness of its cause, the life sacrifices of many American Black and American White civil rights soldiers, and the willing to be killed courage of 6 brave American Black LITERAL leaders, not symbolic leaders, not self-proclaimed leaders, but 6 individuals who directed organizations whose mission was the advancement of civil rights for all people. Unfortunately, the last of those 6 brave leaders, a leader to humble to ever proclaim himself a leader, died last week.

John Robert Lewis who was once called a “living Saint” by Time magazine was known to most as the “conscience of the U.S. Congress”, was known lovingly as “the boy from Troy” to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but due to his closeness to my family, he was known to me as “Uncle John”. My grandfather, Rev. Martin Luther King Sr., was his pastor and in that capacity married Uncle John and his now-deceased wife Aunt Lillian. Aunt Lillian threw my sister, Dr. Angela Farris Watkins, her sweet 16 birthday party, Uncle John continued to be close to my family long after the 1968 assassination of Dr. …

In the aftermath of the George Floyd police murder and the growing support by all Americans for the Black Lives Matter Movement, there are recent moves, some violent and some non-violent, to take down statues deemed offensive to a newly enlightened American society. These takedown moves appropriately raise the question of how to determine which statues must remain and which statues must go.

While there may be differences of opinion on what statues should remain standing and which statues should be taken down, every rational person should agree on how statues should be taken down. No one should resort to violence or mob-rule to take down a statue. When protesters take it upon themselves to tear down statues or deface them with graffiti, its violence run amok. …

The spiritual game-changing police murder of George Floyd has increased the call by many for a Joe Biden Black Vice President. Spiritually and symbolically this is a grand and noble quest, but philosophically and functionally it’s a flawed proposition.

Most advocates of a Joe Biden Black Vice President base their support around 4 propositions:

1) That a Biden Black Vice President would be an advocate of an American Black progressive agenda that the 77-year-old Joe Biden is out of touch with.

2) Based on the current racial turmoil throughout America a Biden Black Vice President would be a strong symbol for healing racial wounds. …
